Terms of service
Last updated October 30, 2026.
Short version: BreachTally is a data service. You get what the public filings say, delivered fast and structured. We do not give legal advice and we do not guarantee that any record is complete.
The service
BreachTally collects data breach notifications that government bodies publish (state attorneys general, the US Department of Health and Human Services, the Securities and Exchange Commission), normalizes them and delivers them through this website, email, CSV files and an API. Paid plans add same-day delivery, filters, exports and API access.
Accuracy and liability
Records reproduce public filings as published, with a link to the source. Filings contain errors, get amended, and are sometimes removed by the agency. We correct what you report within one business day. The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
Acceptable use
One subscription is for one organization. Pro covers one user, Team covers up to five named users. You may store and use the data inside your organization and in work for your clients. You may not resell the feed, republish it in bulk, or use it to contact affected individuals in violation of applicable law. API keys are personal and can be rotated on request.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in US dollars by Polar, our merchant of record, and renew until cancelled. Cancel any time from the link in your receipt, access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the refund policy.
Changes and contact
We may change these terms with 14 days notice by email to subscribers. Questions: support@breachtally.com.
