Privacy policy

We publish information about organizations, never about individuals, and we collect as little as possible about you.

What the site contains

Organization names, filing dates, breach dates, counts of residents affected, categories of data exposed and links to notice letters, all taken from public government filings. We do not collect, store or publish the personal data of people affected by breaches.

What we collect from you

Your email address when you subscribe, plus the filters you set. Payment details go to Polar and never reach our servers. We keep delivery logs (which alert went to which address and when) to avoid duplicates and to answer support questions. We use Cloudflare for hosting and Resend for email. There is no advertising and no tracking pixel in our emails.

Your rights

Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe. Write to support@breachtally.com to see or delete what we hold about you, we answer within 30 days. Organizations named in a filing can ask us to link a correction or update notice to their record.

Where

BreachTally is operated from Argentina and hosted on Cloudflare's network. Data is stored in the United States region.
